These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Marcgent, an AI sales agent for Facebook Marketplace sellers, including our dashboard, Chrome extension, and related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Marcgent helps Facebook Marketplace sellers respond to buyer messages, score leads, and manage listings using AI. You remain responsible for the content of your Marketplace listings and for any transactions you complete with buyers.
You agree not to:
Marcgent automates replies on your behalf. You're responsible for reviewing your Agent Script and configuration to make sure the AI represents your business accurately, and for the accuracy of your own listings.
Replies and lead scores are generated automatically based on your configuration and the buyer's message. While we work to make this accurate and useful, AI-generated text can occasionally be wrong, incomplete, or misinterpret a buyer's intent. You're responsible for monitoring conversations and following up as needed.
Marcgent is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc. Facebook® and Marketplace® are trademarks of Meta Platforms, Inc. Your use of Facebook Marketplace remains subject to Meta's own terms, and your Facebook account can be restricted or suspended by Meta independently of anything we do.
Risk acknowledgment. You understand that automating replies and other Marketplace actions may not be permitted under Meta's terms, and that doing so can cause your Facebook account to be rate-limited, restricted, or suspended. You choose to use these features at your own risk; you are solely responsible for how you configure and run the agent — including message volume and pace — and you agree that Marcgent is not liable for any action Meta takes against your account. We recommend keeping volume low, replies human-paced, and reviewing the agent's output.
Marcgent offers free and paid plans with different usage limits (messages per month, number of listings, etc). Paid plan pricing is shown on our Pricing page. We'll notify active users of material pricing changes in advance.
You can delete your account at any time from your dashboard settings; doing so also cancels any active subscription, so you won't be billed again. You can also cancel your subscription separately (without deleting your account) from the Settings page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or pose a security risk to other users.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Marcgent is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including lost sales, missed messages, or account actions taken by Facebook/Meta.
We may update these Terms as the product evolves. We'll update the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes we'll notify active users by email.
